Sinful NOTD Past November 20, 2009

Hi there!! Today I have a Sinful glitter that I layered over a black creme. I think the looks so cool. =] The glitter is Hottie, blue and holo glitter in a (very) sheer blue base. I used two coats.

Please excuse the chips.=] This held up pretty weel. It was Heck to take off, with felt. I don’t use pure acetone, though.

Zoya Nova November 1, 2009

I’ll admit-this is my favorite of the two I have from Zoya. I thought I would like Luna more, but The just has so much depth. My mom says it is remanent of Dorothy’s red slippers, but pink. I may have to get me a bottle of that. =] Anyway, this has a semi-sheer magenta base with light and dark pink glitter, its reaalllly pretty. I used three coats and two base coats. I don’t care if polish has texture or not, so only one coats of tc. Excuse the tips, I wore this for almost a week and had to fill in a couple chips. It has very good wear.

 

 

Love this!!! My other pics of this got lost. 3 coats. Not too bad to take off with felt. I could barely cut it though. Ended up just ripping it to pieces. LOL=]I think this is something I’ll layer with in the future.  Halloween was good, ended up being Mario. Got lots of candy. =]

Zoya Luna=] October 24, 2009

I got my Zoya shipment a week or so ago from their BOGO sale. I got Savita, Verushuka, Luna, Nova, and some others.

 

I love this glitter. Luna is silver glitter in a light grey base. I did a pedi with it, only because I don’t have any felt. =] I’m going to get some ASAP so I can do a full mani with Nova this week. Anyway, full coverage with 2 coats, no TC. I forget what I used for a base. Probably Nailtek 2.

 

 

 

 

I finally figured out water marks!! Haha, it’ll most likely be inconsistent, depending on how much time I have to edit. =]

Luna is like having disco balls on my nails! I can stop looking as I sit here barefoot. =]

 

I’ll report on how hard it is to take off when I try Nova.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days October 20, 2009

I am in love with Kingdom Hearts. It’s a video game series for Play Station and I am obsessed. For the release of the new game, I did some nail art a couple weeks ago. I meant to show you this then. I copied Sora’s keyblade, becuase it sounded simple. Not so much. I used painter’s tape cut into reaallllly small strips. =] For the base I used Sinful Out of this world and a franken. I then painted Zoya Posh over it.

Next time I do this I am going to start it on my pinkie, going to my middle finger. I’ll put the Micky charm on my pointer. I love this look. Oh, I used a Sally Hansen art pen for the one part of the blade.

Did I mention Sora is the main character?? I’m going to be Axel For Halloween. I love Halloween. And Axel.

First franken!! October 8, 2009

I really wanted to try franking, so when I had a ‘craving’ for a lime green polish, I decided to try it. I used the same technique as Jen, with only making one manicure. I used an old Tupperware to mix.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is 50% Nubar Conserve and 50% Sally Hansen HD Lite. It went on smooth, no bubbles, bald spots, os streaks. This is 1 coat. Yes, you read right, one coat!! I konaded in White special polish with plate m50. I love this color, but am lacking in the naming department. Oh well, I’ll live. =]

That has nothing to do with my post today. >.< Today, for you I have Sinful Let’s Meet. It reminds me of honey mustard, or pineapple.  See?? There is a methood to the madness. =] I konaded with Special Polish im Black, m50.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is two coats, but I was being lazy that day and didn’t Go for opacity. I love this color, it has little red and green micro shimmer things.

Gimme a Hand?? September 22, 2009

My friend Kaitlyn was over recently, and I got the chance to do her nails. I love her nails, and if she grew them out they would be gorgeous. She Bites them, one time she even bit her fakes!! I would love it if she stopped, but whatever. I used WnW Craze in Jade and Sinful Gorgeous. (would have posted this earlier, but too much homework the last few days.)

Bare Nails- Le Gasp! September 16, 2009

No, not really. LOL. I did this a couple of weeks ago. My mom was complaining that my fingers were going to fall off, so I thought this would make her happy.  I found this Konad pattern hard to apply, but I’d never used the plate before, or done something so intricate. I Used Konad special Princess Polish In Hot Pink. m60

Now That’s A Zebra of a Different Color! September 4, 2009

I recently got more Konad Plates, And today I have plate m57. I decided to do Skittle nails, so then I did zebraprint over them. Bottle Love:

The new Konad Bottles are goregess. I love all the details, and it moved up to 11ml! hahahaI forget the names of the polishes, I’ll edit those in later.
